We know dogs like running around, playing fetch, resting at the front porch, and being patted on their head. But have you ever heard of dogs bowling? If not, then we present to you the eight-month-old Goldendoodle named Blake who enjoys competing with his owner Katelyn “Kt” Simpson. When Katelyn decided to take her dog bowling and showed him the ropes, she could’t imagine he would love it and enjoy it that much.
Katelyn herself was part of the bowling team at Pikeville University in Kentucky and made the USA Junior National team in 2015 so she makes a great teacher.
“I think his high game is, like, a 93,” Katelyn said. “He gets strikes every once in awhile, pretty good spare shooter.”
Everyone who gets to see this dog’s bowling skills is amazed by how good he is. He is a real attraction among the players who visit the bowling center.
“So, we just put the ball on top of the ramp and we held a treat, like, above the ball,” she continued. “We’re like, come on, you know, kind of helped him, showed him a couple times, just pushed the ball with his arms and he caught on and just started doing it on his own.”
