It doesn’t really come as a surprise that the final product of the photoshoot featuring a rescue kitten named Blossom is all over the Internet. Once you see this cute little baby, you’ll know why she is winning our hearts.
Blossom was rescued from the streets and is now sharing a home with her foster mommy Lauren Boutz and two kitty siblings, Bubbles and Buttercup. And although all the three felines under Lauren’s care are beyond adorable, Blossom is the most popular one all because of her incredible smile.
When Lauren decided to take some pictures of her cats which she later shared on Facebook, she had no idea people will fall in love with Blossom.
Apparently, this tiny kitten’s smile was enough for her to become an Internet sensation. Well, it’s not that we see cat’s smiling in such affectionate manner every day.
“Blossom smiling for the camera 😍,” she posted on Facebook.
“I foster kittens for the City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department. These are my Powerpurr Girls: Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. They’re about 5 weeks old now #FosteringSavesLives #AdoptDontShop #OneAlbuquerque.”
What is even more incredible is that Blossom knows how to pose just perfectly. One would say she was born to be a model. Her shiny eyes and the way she stares at the camera only add to her cuteness.
After they realized Blossom’s smile is making people happy, Lauren and her friend Gary Sanchez decided to take close-up pics of the sweet kitten and give everyone more reasons to smile.
Needless to say, Blossom’s photos were shared more than 200,000 times on Facebook and Instagram and one of them even got around 1 million likes on Twitter.
“I told Blossom that she’s famous now. #FosteringSavesLives #AdoptDontShop”
People took their time to share their words of support and love for Blossom and her foster mommy who is obviously taking awesome care for her rescued animals.
“She REALLY looks happy. So adorable,” one of the commenters wrote.
“Omg if that precious smile doesn’t make you fuzzy warm then I don’t know what does.”
“All of a sudden the world is perfect.”
“From grumpy cat to the smiling cat, they sure have come a long way,” another user jokes about famous internet cats.
“I hope you know how many people have fallen in love with Blossom. Me included. This is now my happy place. Keep up the good work, u lucky devil!”
Daily Mail reported how Lauren is fostering rescued animals regularly and is working with the City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department. She loves the fact she can be there for someone who is in need of help and always does her best to find the animals forever homes.
As for the three cuties she’s currently fostering she says they are her ‘Powerpurr’ girls.
We love what Lauren is doing for the animals and we strongly support her ‘adopt, don’t shop‘ policy.
It’s not surprising that Blossom has attracted thousands of followers on Instagram. And if you want to stay up to date with her life you can do it here. There are other amazing photos and animals to meet as well.
