Dog Was Spotted Taking Owner’s Hand — To Cross The Street

"I couldn’t believe what I was seeing."

I would have never expected to see that!

One American journalist who had made her journey all the way to Kathmandu, Nepal, has spotted a rare sight of an owner and his dog. She had even taken a video of it. The single scene has since gone viral, and for good reason. Originally there for an upward hike to Everest Base Camp, Natalie Compton had been sightseeing on her own before the journey. Right before she crosses the street, she spotted a dog – and whips out her phone.

“I had a few days in Kathmandu before the hiking started. I had found a local gym to keep up my training for the trek, and was sitting outside of the gym building resting after my workout. The streets of Kathmandu are mesmerizing to watch.
I’d seen a million cute dogs since I’d gotten to town, some wearing sweaters, most very friendly and curious. I started taking a video of the dog just because that’s just something I do as a good dog-loving millennial,” Compton recalls.

However, something that she would never had expected happened. As soon as the coast was clear, the owner looked down on his dog and held his hand out. He had summoned the dog to give him its paw, and the dog did so without any verbal command!

The dog then walks, hand-in-hand, along with its owner as they cross the street together! The dog’s hind legs even hurried in order to keep up with its owner’s pace! Compton on the other hand, “couldn’t believe” what she had saw. The journalist went on to describe the cute scene as “the most surprising 15 seconds” of her life thus far.
