Dog Found Covered In Ticks Makes Stunning Recovery After Being Dumped On A Dirt Road

There are so many heartbreaking stories of animals being tossed out of cars like garbage by their owners.

Minnie is a small black dog, only estimated to be about 3 years old. She was found on the side of a dirt road, looking very lost and confused.

She was covered in many fleas and ticks, that made her skin very sensitive and caused her a lot of pain. But the parasites weren’t her biggest health issue.

After a full checkup, it was discovered that Minnie had endometriosis. It is a complicated uterine condition that is common in female dogs who are not spayed. It can lead to pyometra, which is fatal if left untreated.

Thankfully, Howl of a Dog rescued Minnie from the streets and treated all of her medical concerns. Now she is a healthy and very happy dog, waiting to move into her forever home!
