Animals can’t speak for themselves, but the animal advocates and those who tirelessly fight for their rights certainly can, and what’s most, they are more than willing to do so.
Some of these kind people who never fail animals, especially the strays and the sick, are the volunteers from The Humane Society of the United States. Recently, they learned of a hoarding property in Ohio where a large number of animals were kept in horrendous conditions. Most of them were infested with ticks and mange and were undernourished and unhealthy.
What these volunteers did was undertaking a rescue mission during which 166 cats and dogs were saved. Among them was a sweet chocolate Labrador named Chuckie.
Chuckie wasn’t a stray dog. He had a family that was looking for him for five long years. Luckily, they finally found him and the reunion is one to remember.
