When 16-year-old Ginge the cat was diagnosed with cancer, his owner Jacek Matusiak was heartbroken.
“There was a massive change in his [Ginge’s] behavior, he was losing his balance a lot and he lost voice,” Jacek said.
“He had two strokes, an enlarged liver, significant weight loss and tumor growth to the front paw pad.”
There was only one choice, to put him down.
Matusiak was at a loss and most of all he was emotionally wrecked. He visited the vet and got nothing but more bad news.
“Ginge was given a poor prognosis by the vet and a very small chance to survive as he was very withdrawn and almost lifeless.”
When he received the diagnosis Matusiak was devastated. Despite the vet’s recommendation he wasn’t willing to give up.
He immediately started Ginge on his prescribed antibiotics and steroids— but as the vet had predicted, nothing was working. That’s when the 35-year-old cat owner took matters into his own hands and did some research on his own.
He came across an article that ‘claimed’ a woman had shrunk a tumor simply by using cannabidiol (CBD) oil.
While he researched he came across numerous accounts of other’s that claimed using CBD oil led to miraculous recoveries from disease and illness. What did he have to lose?
“He completely perked up and started being more responsive. Most of all, his voice came back.”
Even the kitty’s paw tumor started to heal and show much improvement.
“We believe it was the oil that we gave him that helped”
“According to Healthline, CBD oil is made by extracting CBD from the cannabis plant and then diluting it with a carrier oil like coconut or hempseed oil. Unlike THC, the component in marijuana known to produce a “high”, CBD has absolutely no psychoactive properties and has been linked to decreases in anxiety, depression, cancer symptoms, and more.”
Jacek and Ginge are raising awareness about their story in hopes of spreading the all the potential uses for CBD oil.
“People just need to be aware that this could be really useful. I want to spread the word about how this could help people.”
Help these two raise awareness by sharing with your friends and family.
