American biker gang destroys dog fight rings and rescues animals from violent owners

These guys are real heros!

Huge muscles, tattooed bodies and faces, and bikes. Seeing these guys on the street, one may assume they are tough and make troubles, but the reality is that this group of bikers are gentle and devote their time saving animals in need. Their organization, Rescue Ink, has saved numerous lives so far, and they won’t quit until the number of cases of animal neglect and mistreatment is very low, hopefully zero. But these animals advocates aren’t all bikers. There are bodybuilders, former military members, police officers and detectives, and even lawyers among them.

They not only save animals from the bad conditions they are living in, but also make sure to find each and every one of them a new home.

“Some people like to think of us as superheroes. The truth is, we are super animal lovers. Through the years, and through many caseloads, obstacles, and downright challenges, we remain strong and dedicated to our mission,” they say.

Rescue Ink helps investigate cases of animal cruelty and locate the animals in need of help. They, however, do it with the help of various animal shelters and public organization. Their mission has been supported by celebrities too. They offer help to any kind of animals, dogs, cats, horses, and even fish.

“We specialize in getting the abuser away from the dog. We truly work with the abuser. We go to a house; if it’s really cold out, we see two dogs in the back, we build them a doghouse,” Mr. Missari, a member of the team told NY Times. Of course, if they come across a very serious situation of animal cruelty, they contact the authorities.

The role they play in the community is significant. Rescue Ink are always there when it comes to educating young kids of the importance of treating animals right, and we are very thankful for that.

“Let’s just say an official goes to an abuser’s house, he pulls up in a cop car and, immediately the abuser knows the cop’s limitations, he has certain boundaries. But when we pull up, they don’t know what we’re going to do, they don’t know what we’re capable of doing. So it helps out big time,” they told People.

The guys from Rescue Ink are just a perfect proof that we should never judge a book by it’s cover. Under these guys’ fierce looks, there are real angels hiding.
